Music For The Soul

I came across a CD my friend had given to me as a gift a few months after id moved to India which id never heard.I discovered it today when I was looking through a box of my CD's so I stuck it in and started listening to it and now I can't stop!

The bands name is Indian Ocean and the album is named Kandisa which I found out means "Praise" and I can't praise this album enough. All the songs on this album have been sung in different languages and used Pure Indian instruments.

Like the title song Kandisa is based on a Syrian Catholic hymn which is a
1,000 year old Aramic prayer sung in Aramic, a language that Jesus spoke.
Performed marvelously, it gets deep inside the very depths of one's
soul. This song was the one I liked best especially the guitar and tabla pieces.

This is one album nobody should miss.Trust me once you listen to them, you'll get addicted to them.

Wanderings of a Different Kind

Well i finally landed at the Changi Airport in Singapore and my god what can i say this airport is a world onto itself. It's Clean,Ultra-Modern and just plain gorgeous.I wanna live in here! lol

I finally made it out of the airport in my own sweet time cause i was busy eating at one of the many restaurants there. My Friends were waiting for me when i got out and we travelled to Kims house where i'll be staying for my duration there.I got in a few hrs of sleep time and then went out for some shopping in some bazaar.Man even here you have to haggle for prices for stuff.Thank god kim accompanied me when i went out or i would have ended up spending more than necessary and become broke in no time.I bought a scarf and a set of 50 dvd films. Then Kim called up eric and silvio whom we shared our evening meal with at a cute little restaurant and i ate dishes that i can't name lol tasty though.

Btw Missing you guys at V V's i hope to be back home soon luvs ya lots.
